We count many foreign companies amongst our clients, including some of the world's largest gaming providers trying to become active on the German gambling market. Attending our clients on this difficult path, we develop entry strategies to the German gambling market.

Amongst others we fought for the so called bet-at-home-decision of the District Court of Munich I, which was rendered some days before the ECJ's famous Gambelli-decision.

| Martin Arendts:
born 1966. Studied law at the University of Passau from 1987 to 1992. Graduation (first state exam) 1992. From 1992 to 1995 junior barrister; postgraduate studies at Germany’s Centre of Competence for Administrative Sciences in Speyer and the University of Hamburg (European Commercial Law). Second state exam in 1995. Admitted to the bar in 1995. Next to gaming law he focuses on Banking- and Investment Law; numerous publications, lectures and workshops in these fields. Founding of ARENDTS ANWÄLTE in 1995. Postgraduate Studies in European and International Commercial Law at the University of St. Gallen (M.B.L.-HSG) in 2000 / 2001. Main Legal Focus:

| Alice Wotsch,
born 1977. Studied law at the Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen from 1997 to 2002. Graduation (firat state exam) 2002. From 2002 to 2004 junior barrister in Kempten (Allgäu) and Augsburg. Admitted to the bar since September 2005. She attended a stage in "European and international Commercial Law" and completed an internship with Brownstein, Brownstein & Associates in Montreal, Kanada, where she refreshed her legal vocabulary in French and English. She has been working for ARENDTS ANWÄLTE since September 2005 in the fields of Gaming- and Investment Law.
